Dear Staff and Residents of Bay Pointe:
My sisters and I want to sincerely thank you for all you've done in the past several weeks to ease our mother's passing and to help Dad with the stressful days leading up to her death. He has said on numerous occasions that he could not have coped with this difficult time without all your help and support. All of you have been open and welcoming to them and we appreciate your continuing support to Dad as he transitions through the weeks and months ahead.
Special thanks to Carlos and the other care staff who treated Mom with ultimate respect in her last days, allowing her to live the end of her life with dignity. We commend Ed and the rest of the medical staff for responding quickly when needed, and for spending time with Dad when he needed someone to talk to. Thanks to Renee and Janet, along with the rest of the administrative and reception staff for all you've done, including allowing the family to use the private dining room for an entire day as we put together the picture boards for Mom's memorial service, and providing Debbie and me a place to stay last week so we could be close to Dad when he needed us most. And thank you to the residents of Bay Pointe who have made us feel welcome and supported.

Good afternoon Stephanie,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know of two fantastic employees you have at Bay Pointe. Please do not get me wrong, I have not met anyone at Bay Pointe that isn't kind and friendly but Renee and Carlos, in their own way, have exceeded my expectations in customer service. Renee has been spectacular from the get go. From day one she has answered all our questions, if she didn't have an answer she found it and got back to us and has been delightful when working with my mother in law. On the day my husband and I delivered furniture for my mother in law's new residence Carlos helped and that poor soul was so sweaty and covered in cat hair at the end but never once complained and had a smile on his face the entire time (well, maybe not when moving the couches)!
Please pass along how impressed I am to both of them. In this day and age, customer service doesn't appear to be a priority within many companies and I am glad we found a caring, friendly residence for my mother in law.

Thank you so much for all you and your staff did to welcome my mother-in-law last Thursday! My husband, and I were concerned about her arrival and first night at Bay Pointe, especially since she traveled all the way from Alaska that day. However, everything went really well.
On my way to the airport to pick them up, I called and asked if you would turn on the Christmas tree lights on her tree for me, a tree I hadn't been able to decorate because I'd run out of time. I cannot tell you how thrilled and delighted I was to open her door and find the tree completely decorated! That was a true blessing for all three of us. I was able to thank the two staff members personally, but I also appreciate your help.
Mother was fine when we arrived and during the time we were helping her unpack some of the things that made her apartment more like home. But when it was time for us to go, she became very distressed. One again, your staff stepped in to help us. No less than three staff came up to the apartment and introduced themselves to her. They promised to look in on her during the night and one stayed with Mother as we left. That was when we were completely certain that Bay Pointe is the best place Mother could be.
In the days since she moved in, we have seen a marked improvement in her. We feel the socializing and getting out of the apartment for meals have been very helpful.
Bay Pointe is definitely living up to and exceeding our hopes as Mother's new home!"

Even though my mom and dad were here only for a short time, they really grew to love you all. I know my mom was comforted by knowing help was so near and she didn't have to worry about anything. You made her final days very comfortable. You all are angels on earth. I will always highly recommend Bay Pointe. Thank you for helping our family get through a very hard time. She considered room #310 her home.

Your thoughtfulness and kindnesses immeasurably added to the peace-of-mind and dignity of my parents. I have never experienced such a level of care and devotion demonstrated by so many, so often for so long. I can sleep with limited-guilt that I am 3,000 miles away from my mother, caring for my immediate family, while she remains in your more than capable and loving hands.

Since my arrival at Bay Pointe Assisted Living in April 2004, I have been able to thoroughly appreciate what a first-rate facility Bay Pointe provides to it’s people. From my apartment, with a view of the Oyster Bay area, I am able to enjoy bird watching and the peaceful Northwest scenery.

The facility is very well set up and maintained. We always felt comfortable having Mom and Dad live at Bay Pointe. We knew that they were in a secure, safe and comfortable setting. Everyone at Bay Pointe has gone that “extra mile” to make us (the family) feel welcome and comfortable.
